Hi, I'm Melissa!  I am a mom, wife, gardener, sewer, and lover of all things "green".  mmb by hand was borne out of the intersection of my passions for sewing and sourcing eco-friendly goods, and I'm excited to share that with you!  

All of my items are made from certified organic fabrics, and the other materials used in my creations are sourced from small, independent businesses whenever possible.  

I was also a co-owner of the Savannah Food Co-op, an organic food co-op that operated for many years in Savannah, GA providing fresh, organic food to our community and supporting many small farmers in the area.  So I'm very passionate about supporting small businesses, our community, and living a sustainable lifestyle.
